"[Christ] can make the dry, parched ground of my soul to become a “pool,” and my thirsty, barren heart as “springs of water.” Yes, He can make this “habitation of dragons”—this heart, so full of abominable lusts and fiery temptations—to be a place for “grass” and fruit to Himself (Isa 35:7)." -John Owen "The Mortification of Sin in Believers"
My newest motion comic based on Spurgeon's plough quote in one of the most recent comic strips.
Here's the quote:
"The best plough in all the world is the preaching of the gospel. Leave a village without Christ crucified , and it soon becomes a great tangle of thorn, and briar, and brake, and bramble; but when sound and sensible preaching comes, it tears all up like a steam plough, and the change is something to sing about."
This quote comes from Spurgeon's book, John Ploughman's Pictures.
