Whenever I post this one someone inevitably assumes this is the beloved R.C. Sproul. There are two problems with this assumption. One, Sproul was not a Reformed Baptist, and two, it just isn't Sproul and was never intended to be. If you'd like to see a reftoon of Sproul dig back into the archives and you'll find him. No, this is just a grandfather teaching his grandson about scripture.
Soli deo gloria!
My newest motion comic based on Spurgeon's plough quote in one of the most recent comic strips.
Here's the quote:
"The best plough in all the world is the preaching of the gospel. Leave a village without Christ crucified , and it soon becomes a great tangle of thorn, and briar, and brake, and bramble; but when sound and sensible preaching comes, it tears all up like a steam plough, and the change is something to sing about."
This quote comes from Spurgeon's book, John Ploughman's Pictures.
